Designed for creative freedom, the VENICE Extension System Mini is 70% smaller and lighter than the VENICE Extension System 2, creating a compact shooting system that is ideal for shooting handheld, with gimbals, in tight spaces, and for high-action shots, simplifying rigging for complex sets. It allows users to wear the camera body on their back like a backpack with cables running to the handheld sensor. Shooting creative angles has never been more convenient, especially in the production of dynamic, action-packed videos.
This flexibility makes it possible for Nicholas to explore different framing possibilities without inhibition, as he got to ride on a hoverboard while carrying the VENICE 2 on his back in the process of gathering footage. The end result is a scene with seamless, smooth gliding movements.
The VENICE Extension System Mini is also E-Mount compatible, making it possible for Nicholas to switch between a variety of Sony Alpha lenses for various scenes. In addition, a PL mount adapter ensures compatibility with traditional CINE lenses.
