Sidetone is a feature that makes it easier to talk on the headphones and helps the headphone microphone pick up sounds and play your voice naturally. When the Sidetone feature is active, the noise canceling effect may weaken or the ambient sound may increase. This is not a malfunction of the headphones.
Note: The Sidetone feature works under the following conditions:
- INZONE H9 II: The boom microphone is attached and the microphone is ON
- INZONE H5/H7/H9: The boom microphone is lowered
- INZONE Buds (WF-G700N): The Sidetone feature is activated in the INZONE Hub software
Hints:
- If you are using the INZONE Hub software, you can adjust the level of the Sidetone feature by going to Sound Settings → Sidetone.
- Depending on the model, you can deactivate the Sidetone feature by following the steps below:
- INZONE H9 II: Remove the boom microphone or turn OFF the microphone. The voice chat sound will be muted, and the Sidetone feature will deactivate.
- INZONE H5/H7/H9: Raise the boom microphone. The microphone will turn off, the voice chat sound will be muted, and the Sidetone feature will deactivate.
- INZONE Buds (WF-G700N): Adjust the level of the Sidetone feature using the INZONE Hub software.
- Noise canceling is only available for the INZONE H9.
