Introduction To Bird Photography - June 2026

Introduction to Bird Photography is a hands-on outdoor workshop designed for first-time bird photographers eager to begin but with no prior Bird photography experience.

This workshop offers a touch & try experience with selected Sony Alpha bodies and G Master super-telephoto lenses, allowing participants to test autofocus speed, tracking accuracy, reach, and image quality when photographing birds in their natural habitat. Learn how Sony’s Real-time Tracking, Animal/Bird Eye AF, and high-speed performance help capture sharp and expressive birds images.

Led by Alpha Guru Nur Ismail, participants also will be guided through essential techniques such as camera setup for birds, lens handling, stabilisation, and ethical bird photography practices. The session also covers fieldcraft basics, composition, and understanding bird behaviour for better timing and storytelling.
